Keep Your Data Together with Attachments

Sequencing and organizing DNA rarely working with just one file per sequence – there’s often trace files, data logs, and other sorts of associated data with a given sequence. Benchling now makes it easier to reference that data, through attachments.

You can open any sequence’s attachments by clicking the paperclip icon from its row on the library page.

Like the import page, you can simply drag and drop any file to attach it to the sequence.

Attachments can be also accessed from the information panel when editing a sequence.

When performing sequence alignments, uploaded trace files now get automatically attached for you, so you don’t have to worry about searching for them later.
