Thousands of scientists use Benchling’s CRISPR tools to design and score guides. Today, we’re excited to announce an addition to our CRISPR tools: design of HR templates for knock-in experiments. We also now support 50+ genomes and are actively adding support for more genomes as scientists request them.
Here’s how it works:
- Import a sequence from a gene name or genome coordinates.
- Make the edits you want to knock in on the sequence map and adjust the HR arms.
- Select silent mutations using codon usage data to remove the target site.
Our CRISPR tools allow you to easily import your target region complete with annotations from the gene name or genome coordinates. On-target and off-target scores are calculated in seconds.
If there’s a genome you’d like us to support, feel free to email us and we’ll get back to you soon!
