Benchling Events Update: Announcing Benchtalk West

Kyrstin Lou Ward

We're thrilled to announce Benchtalk West, Benchling's first West Coast User Forum on Thursday, April 4, 2019 in South San Francisco, CA. Benchtalk West will be an opportunity for life science R&D leaders to gather together to discuss ground-breaking projects, ideas, and insights that are shaping the future of biotech, and share how Benchling is elevating the way they work.

At Benchling’s first user forum, held last October in Cambridge, MA, we charted five key trends in life science R&D, such as how the industry’s shift from software “point solutions” to unified software platforms mirrors the needs of emerging large molecule modalities.

Next month, at Benchtalk West, Benchling will bring together the life science community – from academia, to biotech startups, to the largest pharmaceutical organizations – to discuss how emerging techniques, such as CRISPR or CAR T cell immunotherapies, are revolutionizing biotechnology as we know it.

At Benchtalk West, we have an amazing program lined up, with speakers from companies such as Juno Therapeutics, Bolt Threads, Five Prime Therapeutics, Assembly Biosciences, and Spotlight Therapeutics. We hope to see you there!

Benchling hosts the Benchtalk User Forums bi-annually, with Benchtalk East coming up later this year. We are proud and excited to have a platform to engage with the life science R&D community, and we look forward to crafting spaces for biotech leaders and changemakers to meet and share their stories.
